A Simple Guide to Set up Your Hookah for the First Time

Hookah, shishas, and vapes are now increasingly becoming popular with more and more people getting attracted towards them. These not only provide people with the fun of enjoying tobacco socially but it’s also very less harmful than the traditional cigarettes and tobacco. You can find the hookah in many lounges and expensive places.

Nowadays even people keep hookah at their homes so that they can enjoy it whenever they want to. If you also have brought a new hookah and you’re setting it up for the first time you can make a mistake or two. While it’s good to have someone who has experience in hookahs by your side, you can also learn how to setup the hookah by yourself.

Here are some of the steps that you could follow:

  • The first and foremost thing that you need to do is take the hookah shisha out of the case and clean each of its parts very carefully. It’s very important to wash all the parts before you start connecting them so that you can access each and every part of the shisha. The other advantage of it is, mostly when you bring them there are chances that there might be some impurities present in it and washing will get rid of them.
  • The second thing that you need to do is fill the base of the hookah with cold water. However, be careful and don’t add too much water. The water will ensure that the smoke cools off before you take it into your body. This is why it’s recommended that you add enough water to ensure that the smoke is cold enough to be inhaled without any problems.
  • After filling the base with cold water, it’s time to attach the main shaft of the hookah to the base. While connecting the main shaft with the base make sure that everything is air tight and there is no gap left which could cause the smoke to exit the hookah. Also, make sure that the metal stem is covered by at least 1 inch of cold water.
  • This is when you can attach the hoses to the sides of the hookah shisha. It’s important that you make sure that you don’t touch the water with the hoses because it’s obvious that you wouldn’t want to inhale drops of water. Also keep in mind that almost all the shishas are light when compared to the hoses, which means you need to be careful while letting off a hose.

Follow these steps and your hookah is ready. Once you are done with the hookah it’s important that you clean it again and keep it for the next use. Remember cleaning the shisha is not a difficult task, it’s as simple as washing the dishes, but you just need to be careful so that it doesn’t break.
